What is Inburgerpas?+
Inburgerpas is an independent practice platform for the Dutch inburgering A2 exam. You practise writing, reading, listening, and KNM questions and get instant feedback on every answer.
Is Inburgerpas affiliated with DUO or the Dutch government?+
No. It is an unofficial tool built by someone who prepared for and passed the exams themselves, with no connection to DUO or any Dutch government body. Use it alongside official DUO material rather than instead of it, and always check official sources for exam rules and requirements.
Which parts of the inburgering exam does it cover?+
Schrijven (writing), Lezen (reading), Luisteren (listening), and Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij (KNM). Spreken (speaking) and ONA (Oriëntatie op de Nederlandse Arbeidsmarkt) are not covered — use official DUO materials for those.
How many practice questions are available?+
Over 800 in total: 130+ writing prompts, 100 reading texts, 100 listening recordings, and 480 KNM questions. Every one is tagged by topic.
What level is the practice content aimed at?+
A2 throughout, matching the standard inburgering exam requirement.
Do I need an account to practise?+
No. You can start practising straight away. Signing in with Google saves your progress and history so you can pick up where you left off.
Is Inburgerpas free to use?+
Yes. All four parts are free, including AI feedback on writing answers, with or without an account.
How is my writing graded?+
Your answer is checked against the prompt and the expectations of the real exam, then returned with feedback on task completion, language, register, and what to fix first. This is AI-generated guidance, not an official score.
What do the listening recordings sound like?+
They are pre-recorded audio spoken by AI-generated Dutch voices, with a separate voice for each speaker in a conversation. You can replay any recording as often as you like and slow it down. Because the voices are synthetic, they can sound a little different from the real exam.
How does KNM practice work?+
Multiple-choice questions about Dutch society — housing, work, healthcare, history — each with instant feedback and an explanation of the correct answer.
Can I practise specific topics instead of random questions?+
Yes. Every part lets you filter by topic instead of drawing from the whole bank.
