How AI is used
Two parts of Inburgerpas involve AI: the feedback on your writing, and the voices in the listening recordings.
Your answer is checked against the prompt and returned with feedback on task completion, language correctness, register, word count, and what to fix first. The goal is to help you notice patterns: missing required points, common word-order mistakes, and sentences that can be made clearer at A2 level.
It may be wrong, too strict, too generous, or miss something an official examiner would notice. It is not an official score and does not guarantee exam results. Use it as a coach for repetition and correction, alongside official information from DUO.
The recordings are real audio files, but the voices are synthesised rather than recorded by human speakers. Each script is written for A2 practice and read by a Dutch voice, with a separate voice for each person in a conversation.
Synthetic speech is close to natural Dutch but not identical to it: intonation and rhythm can be flatter than a real speaker's, and the pronunciation of names and loanwords is occasionally off. Treat these as practice material for catching times, dates and key details — not as a reference for how every word should sound.
